We were greeted with so much kindness when we walked in, to me that’s always the most memorable thing! The pastries we got were very affordable and delicious too of course. The adobo pan de sal was soft and fresh. Love to see this mom n pop still thriving in Silver Lake.

Never had a thing here i didn't like. Banana egg rolls, breads, yuca corn pudding, it's all delicious. Truly a low key gem in a crowded food neighborhood
Very homey filipino bakery selling all kinds of bread and pastries. They have empanadas, turon (banana egg roll with jackfruit), traditional rice cakes, birthday cakes, party platters, and pies (cassava/egg). They also have a small grocery section inside. The ladies here are very kind! Parking is very limited. Cash or card.

The holy trinity of Sunset Triangle: The WIndow, Pine and Crane, AND THE ONE ABOVE ALL - UNITED BREAD & PASTRY. Mark and the entire team have built and sustained the essence of mom & pop shop in an area where it feels seemingly impossible. From the intoxicatingly sweet aroma, to the treasure trove of assorted peanuts - this place is deserved of your time and tastebuds. Out of Coke Zero? Head to United. Need a sweet treat? Head to United. Need a whole Lechon. Need I say? Big fan. BIIIIIG fan!
Their turon, pandesal, ensaymadas and siopaos are solid! I highly recommend giving them a try! The place is organized, always stocked and clean. The service is welcoming. Parking is challenging but what else is new.
What a local hidden gem! we didn’t realize this was a Filipino bakery when we walked in and was definitely very pleasantly surprised. They have some pretty hard to find Filipino stuff here, like pastillias ube. The turon was very good too. Service is excellent and they are very friendly. Didn’t realize they did catering too, including lechon which I feel is pretty hard to find these days. definitely bookmarking this place as a future catering option!
The sticky rice is so goood!! It’s already amazing on its own but pairs well with my morning coffee! My dad like to have his with milk but literally you can’t go wrong with the sticky rice!
I recommend the turons as a personal sweet treat, for a special occasion and potlucks!! You will thank me later but literally everything in the store is delicious! The warm peanuts are perfectly seasoned and the egg pie literally will leave you speechless! It’s sold by the slice or a whole pie. You can’t be in Silver Lake/Echo park without stopping by this AMAZING family owned bakery ! Definitely locals & been around for over 40 years!
